Across the globe, similar climates to the Gippsland region can be found in both North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. The Climate Matched Collection is displaying a range of species from these locations for visitors to the Gardens to enjoy.

Designed by Andrea Proctor, the five distinct garden beds have been developed using the well-recognised Koppen Climate Classification.

It was planted out with the assistance of volunteers from The Friends of Sale Botanic Gardens in 2021.
