From 3 January 2024, Brayakulung Way is closed for drive through traffic.  

There will be some parking maintained at the entrance to Brayakulung Way.  

Pedestrians can still access the walking track around Lake Guthridge, Lake Guyatt and Sale Botanic Gardens.

This road closure is part of redevelopment works being undertaken at Aqua Energy.

Due for completion in June 2025, the $23 million facility upgrade will feature a brand new state-of-the-art 25-metre pool and hall with a zero depth water play area, fully accessible single level pool deck for universal access, brand new change facilities, a Changing Places facility, new sauna, and a dedicated Learn to Swim office and coordination space.
